Application Form

Purpose of Mini-Grant: ACCORD invites C-RCS students, teachers, librarians and all other school employees to apply for a mini-grant of up to $200 for the purpose of developing a project or activity that enhances student learning opportunities through:

·        Promoting respect, tolerance and appreciation for diversity

·        Facilitating ways to deal with conflicts around issues of diversity, respect and tolerance that promote peaceful and respectful environments

·        Offering opportunities for students to become actively engaged in such projects/activities or directly benefit from them

Examples of projects or activities:

·        Workshops

·        In-Service training

·        Programs

·        Performances

·        Speakers

·        A specific curriculum project developed by/for student use

What can be purchased:

·        Kits, videos, supplies and materials, books and other resource materials

·        Hiring of performers, speakers or workshop leaders

·        Payment for workshops or in-service training
